Alte Post in Oberhausen-Rheinhausen

The food was delivered and was still really nice and warm and tasted delicious. The staff are very nice.

The delivered pizzas with the same name "Alte Post" were awesome and by a long way the best pizzas from others. The dough was well baked with a thick rim and excellent in taste. The tomato sauce was tasty and the cheese, as well as the bacon and ham, were of high quality. The spices are not intrusive and perfect. Fresh mushrooms, olives and delicious red onions went perfectly with it. Friendly acceptance of my order, no communication problems (😏) and friendly delivery considering the current rules (for the fearful). We are already looking forward to the next delivery and especially to a visit to the pub and beer garden as soon as the current lockdown drama is finally over.

No matter whether before the lockdown in the beautiful restaurant or now picked up and away from home. The food is great and always tastes good. I can only recommend many thanks.

Very attentive staff, huge portions, very tasty, great value for money

We have been back to the restaurant for the first time since the tenant change. Nothing has changed in the restaurant itself, the atmosphere is still nice. There were four of us and we had a side salad, gourmet pork cordon bleu, grilled veal steak and two Palatine rump steak. The salad was very tasty and varied for € 3.50, the veal steak with medium exactly to the point, good quality and okay with the vegetables for € 19.90. I think the two 300g rump steaks only with French fries are too expensive at € 22.90, my so-called pork gourmet cordon bleu was completely overpriced: Very thin, from the deep fryer! without sauce with a few french fries for 16.90. Here the price / performance ratio doesn't fit in any way. When we left the restaurant around 9 p.m., the guest room was also occupied by far too many people. The distance between the tables may have been kept, but since there were a lot of large groups, in my opinion the total number was completely exceeded. A NoGo in times of rising corona numbers.

We spent one night there and were welcomed very nicely, even if we were late. The accommodation is very authentic, high quality and clean. The food was also very good. Everything can only be recommended!

I was there with the new team for the first time today. because I'm hungry, I ordered the flagship on the menu, the Alte Post plate, a small rump steak, small veal steak and a pork medallion. High-quality meat, however, is flattered the adjective small, I would have expected steaks that are slightly larger than the slice of pork fillet for the price of € 22.90, unfortunately the side dish of croquettes was also very clear, if you are hungry, you should eat a Palatinate plate costs half and you have twice as much in your stomach. With 2 beers and an espresso, I paid € 32.90 and I'm still hungry home. For an inn in the village the price is a bit excessive, with a little more croquettes and a vegetable side dish it would have been OK, but with an almost empty plate and the price I can only give 3 stars even though it tasted good.

What was a super delicious meal, even when it was very busy, was all right.

Super delicious and super friendly although we were there with the Schlemmerblock to 7, there was a greeting from the kitchen, salad to put together yourself. Guest room is quaint and cozy. Unfortunately not in the Schlemmerblock next year but we'll be back anyway.

Top ambience, warm welcome. The food was very large portions, at a great price. My Palatinate plate, with wine and side dish, only cost € 18. Even tried Handkäs at a friend's, it's not mine, but it's worth an experience. Unbeatable, Speyer city center is only 10 km away, definitely an insider tip. ***** definitely 5+ stars.
